Application and Admission (Pre-Engineering, BSc and MSc)
Application deadline:
  • July 1st for the Fall
  • December 30th for the Spring (only preparatory courses)
  • 15th November for MSc Spring semester
  • 30th June for the Fall; 15th October for the Spring of study abroad

Application process and documents to submit:
​For BSc. email the following documents to info@univer360.com:
    • Filled application form
    • Passport copy
    • Secondary high school reports relevant to your application, with special reference to mathematics, physics and English language. Notarized English translation
    • General certificate of education - G.C.E. or any equivalent secondary high school diploma. Notarized English translation
    • Official transcripts, degrees/diplomas of any higher education already completed. Notarized English translation
    • English Proficiency test: a) TOEFL iBT test score of 90, or PBT score 550, b) Cambridge First Certificate "B", c) IELTS score of 5.0 (recommended for BSc, required for MSc)
    • 4 recent photographs
    • Curriculum vitae (autobiography/résumé)
    • Two letters of recommendation (for MSc applications)
Tuition fees
All tuition fees must be paid prior to enrolment.
Euros:3200/semester for a BSc. Degree

​Enrolment Process after the Application

After the application the enrolment process consist of the following steps:
  • Letter of Acceptance
Applicants will receive the Letter of Acceptance of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
The Letter of Acceptance contains the registration number of the applicants, which is necessary for the payment of the tuition fee.
  • Payment of the tuition fee
After receiving the Letter of Acceptance applicants should pay the tuition fee.
NOTE: remember to write the Student's name and registration number according to the "letter of acceptance" in the box 'Information for beneficiary', otherwise payments may not be identified!
  • Proof of Payment
If the payment successfully arrived to the bank account of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, applicants receive an email with the proof of payment.
  • Visit Embassy
Univer360 will help get you an appointment with the Hugarian Embassy, once you get Proof of Payment with the Letter of Acceptance.

After arriving in Budapest

Preparatory Classes for Placement Test
Preparatory Classes will be organized in Math and Physics to help the applicants to prepare for the Placement Test.

Placement Test
Students have to write placement tests in Mathematics, Physics and English and Freehand Drawing for Architecture students. Students found to have inadequate skills in Mathematics, Physics or English will be directed to the one year Preparatory Course before the B.Sc. programs.

Registration
After the announcement of the results of the placement test students have to register at the Central Academic Office of the university. EU citizens have to present EU Health Insurance Card at registration to apply for residence permit for study purpose in Hungary.

Orientation Program
All newly enrolled students (Pre-Engineering Course and General Course in Architecture, B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. as well as for exchange, study abroad and transfer students) an orientation program will be organised at the beginning of the semester. The orientation program includes introductory lectures, access to the Internet, visit the Library and a sightseeing tour.
