Civil Engineering Program

Degree: Civil Engineer (BSc)
Length of studies: 8 semesters (full-time)
Language of instruction: English

Description of the programme:
This programme is accredited by the Institute of Building Construction and provides the necessary education to train innovative and competent professionals who are able to deal with challenges in the sphere of civil engineering.

The curriculum covers a range of practice based subjects including the design, construction and maintenance of buildings, roads, bridges, dams, and municipal water and wastewater systems. Students study the core subjects that the science and practice of engineering is based upon - mathematics and physics, and also design and project management. In addition, students are taught to use new technologies such as CAD and non-destructive testing methods.

Although most graduates go on to work in the field of planning, design or management, they may also be involved in construction engineering, structural engineering, transportation and urban planning, or set themselves up as independent consultants.

Statement or transcript confirming sufficient knowledge in English
Recommendations, any other relevant documents (optional)
Proof of payment of Application and Processing Fees

Univer360 FZ LLC must receive all required documents. After the documents are received on-line interview (via Skype) is arranged with the University. The aim of the interview is to gain sufficient information about the applicant’s:-English language skills,-the engineering dimension,-communication skills.
"Accept" or "Not Accept" point. Applicants are informed in 3 days after the interview.
For applicants who have been accepted to the program the fee of the first semester is due to be paid prior to the commencement of the academic year (the full amount, or the first installment – subject to the Hungarian Visa Application Procedure for certain nationalities to obtain Schengen visa).
The University of Pécs sends the Applicant the original "Decision of Admission" and other documents required for the immigration and visa procedure.
The academic year starts at the beginning of September.
Deadline for application: 31st July. First come first served applied.
Tuition fee: 3000 USD per semester

Civil Engineering Program on a Master Level

Degree: Structural Engineers (MSc)
Length of studies: 3 semesters (full-time)
Language of instruction: English

Description of the programme:
The course is aimed at people who are interested in building- structure, it is open to structural engineers, architects and civil engineers with a bachelor degree or a degree in a related field of study. The programme is based on the Faculty’s research of structural science and aims to provide practical and theoretical training in structural engineering. The course content focuses on developing experimental technique skills and computer usage and reflects current trends in structural analysis and design. The training covers research methods for engineers, construction project management, numerical methods, etc. Optional modules are also offered in the field of structural engineering, such as design in steel and concrete, structures and geo-technics, geotechnical engineering.
